Grooveshark is fast becoming my favorite music streaming service… it is the only service that is internationally available, I wanted to try Spotify cause it had created a lot of buzz, it has a cool desktop app and it also has a symbian app but unfortunately it is not available in India and a lot of other places. Then there is last.fm which gets you similar songs but not the songs of the artist you want to listen.
Grooveshark is great for music discovery, well not exactly like last.fm but still with it you can listen to the most popular songs which are currently in the charts and the songs which were recently released. And Grooveshark lets you listen to the song you want to listen not the similar songs of the song you want to listen. How exactly is this helpful – I won’t have to regret after buying an album. With Grooveshark I can listen to the album I’m interested in and buy the songs that I like individually. What if Grooveshark doesn’t have the song you like? well….upload it.
Then there is Grooveshark Radio 
This radio feature is a Recommendation engine. The recommendations come from Grooveshark’s own users and artists, and you can Smile or Frown songs as they’re played. Not only do the suggestions get better as you go, but you never have to sit through music you don’t like.
If you are always online, you don’t have to buy any music ever again… it’s all in Grooveshark and you can listen all your music anytime from anywhere. [AND IT’S ALL FREE]. The only drawback in Grooveshark is that it doesn’t have offline support …. the offline feature might be introduced later and VIP would get.
